Speech Ease is a progressive, dynamic and purpose and values driven private practice. We believe in training our staff well and providing strong team supports to help all our staff grow, thrive and help clients in a sustainable way.

Why work with us?

We take your learning seriously

1:1 supervision & mentoring sessions
Weekly supervision sessions with your Team Leader and monthly mentoring sessions to help you manage your caseload and keep your wellbeing in check. Daily drop in opportunities with a supervisor.

Generous PD budget $2K + 3 PD leave days
We value any opportunity for further training in external PD courses, which is why you will be provided financial allowances for team members to attend courses and seminars. You will then get the opportunity to present your learnings back to the team to upskill others.

Quarterly Team PD days and annual retreat
We often source for external speakers to speak to us on these quarterly PD days. They are also excellent times to focus on our skills as a team, reflect, reignite, rest and gear up for the next quarter.

Gradual build-up of caseload
The induction period and first 3-6 months of any new job can be stressful. That’s why we provide a gradual build up of caseload to allow you to get used to new processes, procedures, new work flow. The first 2 weeks of the induction will be a lot of observations, and depending on experience levels, one may start with 2 clients in their 2nd week, or no more than 2 clients per day in their 2nd week.

We help people to build up to 25 client appointments per week/5 per day by the end of their 3 months for experienced clinicians, and for new graduates, by the end of their 6th month.

Online Portal

We have an internal online portal with practical topics and suggestions on how to handle certain cases, and presentations. Clinicians will have access to this and can refresh their skills in a topic on a needs basis.

We provide full admin support and work with you to create the caseload and work hours that suit you

We have a highly competent admin team to support you.

You get to create the caseload that energises you, and will get the opportunity to have admin blocks that may suit your work flow/style.

You can create a work day /week where you get to finish client-facing work early and do your admin from home or from your favourite café!

We take your mental health and wellbeing seriously

You also get 3 days per financial year of Mental Health Leave, and 3 Employee Assistant Program sessions to check in with a psychologist affiliated with our program.

We have Team Leaders and Senior Therapists/Staff members who are mental first aid health responders, and who are always around and up for a debrief and chat

We have zero expectations of you taking work home and want to ensure you set healthy boundaries with work and life.

We want to help you hit financial goals

Our wages are well above the award. New graduate packages start at $85K per year and experienced therapist packages start at $105K per year.

You have the opportunity to unlock bonuses when you go above your billing targets for the quarter.

We believe in training our staff well and providing strong team supports to help all our staff grow, thrive and help clients in a sustainable way.
